Verbena tea with lemon
Pickup currently unavailable
Tea from whole verbena leaves with a fresh lemon flavor.
This whole leaf verbena tea has a vibrant green color and a full, lemony flavor. This particular verbena comes from an organic farm on the remote Greek island of Samos, where the leaves are dried naturally at the beginning of summer. From harvest to packaging, everything is done by hand, with care for the delicate and sensitive leaves.
With this lemon verbena you can make a wonderfully soothing herbal tea. Use a teaspoon, let it steep for 5 minutes at 95°C and cover. Strain and serve. Also ideal for herbal infusions in water: follow the same steps and then let it cool to room temperature. On hot summer days, lemon verbena iced tea is wonderfully refreshing. Consume this within 24 hours. Verbena also lends itself well to experiments thanks to its easily combinable lemon flavor. Grind the leaves and use them in sponge cakes or homemade pasta. It is a unique substitute for lemon or mint in poultry dishes and fillings.
The contents of this bag (10g) are good for 30 cups of tea.
