The Nerja bag is an object with character. Every detail testifies to craftsmanship: the hand-braided structure, the soft interior of canvas and leather, the simplicity of the closure and the ritual of tying the belt.
Features
This compact bag is designed to hold your daily essentials: phone, cards, keys, small wallet. The structure consists of hand-braided vegetable tanned leather in hazelnut color, in which rests a removable canvas inner bag. Inside you will find a separate compartment and card holder.
The Nerja closes with a nickel-free, gold-colored magnet. The removable strap without buckle is buttoned – a simple but elegant gesture that gives the bag its distinctive character.

Material and durability
The outside is made of vegetable tanned cowhide in a warm hazelnut shade. The edges are hand polished and painted with water-based paint. The inside is made of 100% cotton canvas, with details and a wallet insert made of vegetable tanned calfskin.
The vegetable tanned leather has an open pore, which allows it to breathe and ages to a rich patina over time. Small natural traces – scars, veins, folds – are not hidden, but rather celebrated. They make every Nerja bag unique, a tangible result of natural material and human handicraft.
This bag is part of a limited edition and carries an individual serial number, as discreet proof of its uniqueness.
About the creator
Each Nerja bag is designed one by one and handcrafted in the workshop Taller Piccolo in Malaga, Spain. Because each piece is completely handmade, the shape is never completely symmetrical – and that is precisely its charm.
