At the end of his life, a man meets an angel who blocks his way for the time being. Face to face with the angel, he says goodbye to the unreality that he believes life is.

'I have celebrated unreality, visited it to the limits of my imagination, admired it, loved it.

I even made a requiem: for her, my unreality!'

Requiem for unreality consists of fourteen poetic, poignant, slightly philosophical texts and follows the classical structure of the requiem. Kees 't Hart wrote an associative afterword.
