About the creator

Cat Bove (°1983) is a visual artist. She studied painting at Sint-Lucas in Ghent and combines her art with a job as a flight attendant at Brussels Airlines. Being on the road became a permanent part of her work. Between airports, hotel rooms and clouds, she draws what she sees: colleagues, passers-by, herself.

Her work looks beyond the appearance of the everyday. She travels far beyond the smile, straight to the place where beauty and fatigue meet. In this way she exposes fault lines without losing her humor.
