The confessions game - card and dice game

The confessions card game: a simple card and dice game for daring and fascinating conversations with friends.

Using a dice and some cards, participants answer questions about career, intimacy, money, relationships, family, etc. The game encourages you as a participant to open up and share or confess things in a playful way that you might find difficult to put on the table in a different context.

Example cards:

• What did you call your partner during your biggest argument?
• What do you tell yourself about your career when you're feeling your lowest?
• What are you ashamed of when people know how you handle money?
• Describe in detail the first time you had sex.
• What do you think is the least pleasant characteristic of your children?

How to play the game

• Play with a group of friends to get a conversation going.
• Use the cards as an exploration exercise with a partner to delve into some aspect of yourself or your relationship that might otherwise feel a little difficult to bring to the table. 
• Sort the cards yourself if you're in the mood for a little self-reflection, especially when it comes to your career or relationship choices.
