Rune and Addae live miles away from each other. Their houses are connected by a long wire. There is a tin can on each end of that wire. They talk to each other with this every day. This way they never feel alone.

One day Rune doesn't get an answer. The silence is unbearable, because without Addae she feels lost. So Rune goes looking…

Janneke Ipenburg studied theater design, but soon found a love for picture books. Although she already has a few books as an author to her name, she still feels primarily like an illustrator. But the best thing about making picture books is telling a story, creating a world, whether that is in language or in images.
