These cards hold a variety of comforting and invigorating arguments ready for the greater and lesser challenges of our lives. They remind us that, for the sake of trust, we should not think too highly of others; to speak to ourselves in kinder tones; and to remember that the greatest thing we have to fear is not screwing up, but dying without trying.

How to use the cards

• Keep the deck of cards at hand and consult them at vulnerable moments.
• Put a card or two in your purse or wallet to remind you of basic truths.
• Put a card in a note to give to a friend when he or she faces obstacles.
• Arrange the cards in a creative mood board as a reminder of the importance of forgiving yourself for the horror of every first attempt.

The design is inspired by Pop Art – used in comic book illustrations and later by artists like Roy Lichtenstein – suggesting the playful dynamics that come with confidence.
